# What Scribebit does

Scribebit turns uploaded audio and video into accurate, editable transcripts. Web app. No native mobile or desktop client.

## Product

1. Upload mp3, mp4, wav, m4a, or webm (one or more files, up to 10 at a time). Or paste a podcast RSS feed or a direct media URL (not YouTube/TikTok/Instagram). Linked accounts can send a file via Telegram.
2. Transcription runs in the background. Optional email when ready.
3. Read a speaker-labeled transcript synced with playback (click a phrase to jump there).
4. Edit title, speaker names, and transcript text.
5. Export TXT, SRT, VTT, JSON, Word, or PDF. Presets: Clean, Blog-ready, Podcast, Meeting notes, Timestamped.
6. Ask AI questions about the transcript (summaries, quotes, action items).
7. Generate meeting notes, action items, blog drafts, social posts, and reports. Fitting artifacts can generate automatically when a transcript is ready.
8. Share a public link (viewers do not need an account).

- Not built for legal or medical work that needs human review or personal-data redaction.

Pro and Business add a higher-accuracy path: custom vocabulary, context hints, and industry presets (Podcast, Legal, Medical, Tech).
